RELATIONSHIP THERAPY - FOR INDIVIDUALS

Relationships make up a vital part of our lives. They can be very rewarding, and very complex. Sometimes things become confused and lose the direction we dreamed they would take. Finding your path back to your vision can sometimes need the help of therapy.

ADULT FEMALE THERAPY

Life throws us so many challenges; not finding someone to settle down with, maintaining an individual identity whilst in a relationship and having children, balancing work and life, running out of energy to keep giving. Sometimes we need the space to hear our own voices and regain the vitality we need to be a whole person.

LOSS AND BEREAVEMENT

There are so many types of losses that we experience as we journey through life. whether it is the loss of a loved one, a miscarriage, or the loss of the person we thought we would be. Each one makes a profound impact on us, and often grips hold of us before we can integrate the loss into our being. Sometimes that journey needs the help of a professional.

DEPRESSION AND ANXIETY

Sometimes life just feels so overwhelming. It feels as though there is a weight holding you down, something blocking your vision, a screen between you and the rest of the world. Alternatively, you feel that your life isn't safe, that there are threats coming from all directions. You feel a need to self-protect at every turn. 
Make now the time to face those feelings and move on knowing how to deal with them.

COUPLE'S THERAPY

Relationships are complex. Sometimes it can help to have an objective mediator to help you to understand, respect, and work with each other differently. A space where all people can feel safe sharing what is important to them.

What to expect

STRUCTURE

Sessions last 50 minutes. They will usually take place on a weekly basis. Sessions can take place either by zoom, telephone, or face-to-face.

METHOD OF WORK

I have been trained in Existential Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Psychodynamic therapy. I believe that no two people are the same and that different methods will resonate differently for people. Therefore, I tailor the methods I use to what is best for each individual.

FEES

Each session is £120. A reduced rate can be made available to those in financial difficulty and students. There are a limited number of subsidised slots. Please be in touch directly about reduced rates availability.

ABOUT ME

Leora Kaye

I have been working with people for over 20 years. 

 

I worked in secondary and higher education for many years before formalising a change in my career. 

From watching young people develop and grow I have grown passionate about the human capacity to change and become the people they want to be, to become someone that they can respect.

 

I am UKCP (2011175843) and BACP registered (00986785).

I hold a Masters in Psychology from Hertfordshire University.

I am currently undertaking a Doctorate in Counselling Psychology at the New School of Psychotherapy and Counselling.
